DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

 

  1. Go to http://www.mp3-recorder.biz/ 

  2. Select the “Download a FREE trial version” button

  3. Select  the “Download from Site 1” (or whatever site you wish)

  4. Hit the  button and be sure to put the mp3recorder.exe file into a folder (or Desktop) where you can find it.

 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Locate the mp3recorder.exe file you just downloaded

  2. Open it up and “… just go with the flow …”
  3. When done, look on your Desktop for an icon similar to  .

  4. Open it up and your menu looks like this:


  5. The first time you launch this software after installation you will want to configure it to match your needs.  Do so as follows:

    1. Select <Tools> <Device> and make sure the “white box” under Microphone is selected  (put a check mark in it).

    2. Select <Tools> <MP3 Settings> and select Normal, Mono, and you will need to experiment with the Bit Rate Settings. The lower the setting (32b/s) the smaller the file size. Play til you find what works best for you.
      Hit OK when done with this screen.  It’s that simple.

 

 

RECORDING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Be sure to select the “Save to MP3” button .

  2. When your headset/microphone is ready to go, simply select the  button and begin talking.

  3. When done, select the  button, then select the  button to listen to your recording.

  4. Last, be sure to Save your recording as follows:

    1. <File> <Set File Name To Save The Recording> and give it a logical name (example:  mp3-intro-me).

    2. Be sure to select a logical folder to save this file.  Example: you may wish to use your <My Documents> <Music> folder.

  5. To play the file (in the future), simply open up your Music folder, locate the file you wish to play, and open it up.  It’s that simple.
